Verity is a young woman with an unusual gift: she can see the signals of our everyday communication – mobile phone, Wi-Fi, radio, satellite… you name it. Her skills put her on par with clandestine organizations such as the NSA – something that is bound to cause trouble.
When her employer is violently killed, Verity embarks on a perilous journey to hunt down his killer and to discover a truth she is not quite ready to confront.
“Verity – Wahrheit ist eine Anomalie” is Robert’s first German-language novel: a quirky reckoning with the surveillance programs of the NSA and others. What does a single person do with the ability to listen in on private communication without effort? Where does the search for justice end and uncompromising surveillance begin?
